Pictures, at last.
Okay I'm finally feeling free and up to posting some pictures and stuff from Malaysia and Bangkok. Didn't take any pictures during the Sekou weekend though, so none to post (waiting for people to send haha). But anyway, wow. Sekou has such beautiful and jazzy shines! And he's a pretty good teacher too; his workshops were enjoyable and a good workout (all of us were aching the next day).
Anyway; since so many pictures of MSF have already been posted on Facebook and other blogs, here is just a short depiction of the event in a little collage.
Onward to Bangkok - flew there the day after Msia and shopped the hell out of the place (explains why there weren't really very many pictures, actually.
The atas shopping centre opposite our hotel, with all the big brands and all. Perlini is super expensive in BKK!
Street food; was rather yummy, especially the barbequed squids and chicken hearts on those little satay sticks (not featured in the photos)... DAMN NICE!!
Haha. The ashtrays they make there are rather fascinating...
Bed Supperclub - it looks a little like a spaceship! Was really quite nice inside too, cover was about $32sgd for 2 drinks (which we could choose from a rather extensive list of cocktails, wine and coffee cocktails, which was rather cool), which I think is quite okay, but probably considered pricey for the locals. And the funniest thing was; of all things, we went there during their SALSA NIGHT. Haha. Rather hilarious.Oh and I fell asleep -_- the beds were too comfortable and I was too tired. Haha imagine falling asleep while clubbing/pubbing; how amusing. But was nice and chill.
Moving on; had lunch at Whitebait and Kale with Brandon (who flew off last Saturday :() and Crystal (who's flying off next Wednesday :(:(:(), and ooh the food was rather nice. Should've got a fish dish though (it is their specialty after all) but chose to get a set lunch thing, which had a whole bunch of exciting things to try.
Unfortunately, my camera is a little spoilt at the moment; it just suddenly conked out and can only take strange fuzzy pictures now :( so these will have to do. Shall just post two pictures - of the pretty tea set, and the really yummy dessert.
Cherry jubilee with vanilla bean ice cream and toasted almond croquant. Yums.

Sighh.
Things, are not getting any better. And, I have lost my favouritest bangle of all and am very sad now. I also do not possess any impetus whatsoever to do ANYthing, and feel the onset of a very bad sore throat as well. Also currently in possession of the bone and muscle structure of a... 60 year old, maybe. Tis... not good.

Blah.
I think the most accurate description of how I feel now, after all of the drama, the talking, and the crying, would simply be... empty, I suppose. And alone. This past one and a half weeks has been peppered with situations of that like, and I am just very tired now. And since I am suddenly very free today, I shall blog. And upload pictures, finally, I suppose. Maybe I'll post some pictures later.
In any case, since I literally spent the whole of yesterday moping in bed, today shall not be the same and tis time to get up and... try to feel better. School's starting tomorrow anyway, so no choice there. Shall go about doing that now then, laters.

Happy Birthday, Po Yew. :)
Okay fine, not yet, but still =p went for an absolutely brilliant yacht party on Sunday evening to celebrate Po Yew's 21st birthday, and oh I tell you, it was super awesome! The breeze, the (okay sometimes not so) gentle and soporific (actually, I think that was due to the alcohol... :p) swaying, the beautiful interior, fantastic food from Il Lido, and the wonderful company. Haha. I hope you enjoyed yourself Po Yew, Happy Birthdaayyyyyy!!! :)
And of course, all of us being the camera whores we are, took a gazillion photos when all combined. And the Facebook whores THEY all are, it has all been uploaded there already hahaha. Not to mention commented to death! :p well anyway here are some photos!

And my internship is now over; I'm off to holiday in the far corner of umm, Malaysia, and Bangkok after, so... be back in a week! :D

Very Random Musings.
Hmmm. Haven't updated in a while; seems like there isn't really much going on which I would like to, or can blog about, for that matter. Am in a bit of a gloom right now - the small, irritating cough from Sunday has erupted into a full blown cold and cough, complete with ugh, phlegm and stuff.
And actually, I had typed out this long and extremely whiny rant, but I’m not too sure about putting it up anymore. I guess, there’s no point, really. But I think, I will go on to ramble a little in my usual strange and random way.
I’m increasingly finding that we are all very flawed. And in the midst of it, I’m discovering my own flaws, and how fallible and susceptible I really am. I’ve also noticed, how irascible and depressive I can be when I’m sick (okay, when pms-y too). I’m not making excuses for myself – I know I’m at fault.
But it just makes me rather sad sometimes that when I need someone the most, they’re never there.
Is it really true? Will people treasure a possession which is far more difficult to obtain than one which is so easily within reach? I’m such a fan of clichés, it seems. Haha.
And sometimes, some unexpected and seemingly normal words can have such a positive effect; somehow, such words and comments only come when unsolicited, at appropriate moments. In light of all this; it may seem a little that we have to not seek out too earnestly what we want? In other versions it might well be the opposite.
Heh. I know all this is rather random; thoughts from the afternoon. Am actually awake right now, though not well yet, am not in a state like the past few days where I just fall asleep super early out of exhaustion. And something happened just now to really cheer me up, hehe. Oops I speak too early... am nodding off now erps. Haha I guess I'll stop now - and evidently I did, for I promptly fell asleep after typing that. Hurhur.
Last thought - I seem to always be caught in the position of the designated lamp post; there's nothing wrong with that within friends and all, but it's just rather amusing how that happens so very often.
