Beer seems to make everything all wonderful and fabulous when consumed in the right quantity, and of the right type, for me. Oktoberfest in Munich was freaking awesome - I drank the most beer I ever had (5 or 6 pints worth - shut up I know it's not a lot but for me it is ok!), without puking (thank goodness), and got a bit high and happy and floated about the grounds without a care in the world. Also stuffed myself with various German goodies throughout the day - white sausages with sweet mustard, random wursts with sauerkraut, sausage jerky things, random bread things, ice cream, and pork and onion burger. Yummy. Also managed to meet up with some people there - another cool thing about so many people doing exchange in Europe is being able to enjoy this kind of fantastic experience together with friends. The most amazing thing also happened, though I'm still unsure if it was the beer, the atmosphere, the time apart, or everything all together at once. Whatever it was, it was totally amazing, and although the euphoria of this day will fade in time to come, I will definitely remember this experience. The rest of the pictures are on Facebook...
