Hello blog, remember me?
Gingerbread man says hi! Haha I think my days of frequent blogging (yeah like years ago maybe) are more or less over. Strangely enough there either doesn't seem to be much to blog about / I'm just lazy. Hur. Whatever it is, I feel like doing it today. Am relaxing at home, having a much needed break from work.
Actually took leave today to go for the SIA cabin crew interview, but sadly got BOOTED OUT in the first fricking round. Like seriously, how demoralising is that? :P But okay I've gotten over it - was pretty sad at first, because I really would like to travel around (and plus I find customer service rather fun), but well... perhaps it's not meant to be / I can try again next year. I think I might not be thin / sweet / pretty / demure / poised (?) enough, so well... that's kind of stuff I can't really change because it's just not my personality (except for the first one, lol), so, we'll see.
And oh! I forgot to blog about SISF haha. A week and a half ago was the Singapore International Salsa Festival, where I performed, as a part of the team from Attitude Dance Studio. Was a pretty fun experience, but sigh, after going for the Manchester and Athens congresses last year, this kind of paled in comparison. There were good moments though, so all was not wasted.

Hehe the costume quite sexxayyyy right! Lol. Had to tape and pin like mad but yay for a nice girly, pretty costume this time.
Also forgot to post about Halloween - this year was the first year I ventured to Zouk to see the dressed up masses, and man was it amusing! There were people in ALL SORTS of weird costumes, like - orange juice cup, care bears, JIANG SHIS (this was awesome, you know, the kind in old school Chinese movies with the yellow paper on the forehead), gladiators, terrorists, ninjas etc etc, the list goes on.

Or rather, RMDS now - Robin, Michelle, Denise and Sam Went with my dear FH friends, and we went as (from left to right): Neo, Arabic/Persian belly dancer, the Nurse from Kill Bill, and Japanese Ninja warrior :D Anyway, to end my post, here is the picture of one of the 'jiang shis' (aka Chinese vampire)!

Mobile uploads + what's new
NomnomnommmsGosh I've been so busy with work and rehearsals that I haven't had the time to blog. Been meaning to since Monday so I could upload some food photos, but hmm, somehow just haven't had time. Also missed some gym sessions - but well, was at the studio last Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon, and Weds, so well... not surprising, that! SISF (Singapore International Salsa Festival, in case you didn't already know) is coming up reeeeaaalllly soon though (next weekend!), so we gotta keep practicing! :)
In other news, I've finally updated my food blog with some short reviews and pictures taken with my mobile phone. It's a rather sad neglected blog, but I will give it more love when uh, I have more time =( here's one which I posted about!
Smoked duck salad from Food for ThoughtAlso, finally paid a visit to Burger Shack at King's Arcade today! Been meaning to go for ages... great burgers and fries mmmm. Will post that up soon! I've been having nice catch-up/hang out sessions at some cool food places :)
In other news, I've sent in my application for SIA cabin crew. Waiting to see how that goes!
